My areas of experience include:

Business and financial advice:

With over 20 years experience of working with trustees of charities and business owners and managers and seeing the issues (not just financial issues) they faced and how they dealt with them, I am able to use this insight to benefit all my clients.
Advising on ways to improve balance sheet management and profitability to strengthen the organisation and improve their cash flow.

Management reporting and advice:

Design, set up and operation of outsourced reporting functions for inward investors.
Advising on management information systems.
Providing a local corporate governance function for overseas businesses with UK based operations.

Taxation:

Company, business and personal taxation (including VAT) advice and planning.
Understanding the taxation issues that face charities, especially in relation to VAT.

Financial modeling and projection:

Building integrated financial models incorporating profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow projections.
Assisting with the preparation of business plans.

Financial reporting and assurance assignments:

Advising on complex accounting issues and treatments.
Managing the audits of entities ranging from small charities and owner-managed businesses to substantial companies, including international entities.
Undertaking specialist audit and investigation assignments, such as:
Independent examinations of charities and
Auditing royalty income streams for authors.
Due diligence investigations and preparation of completion balance sheets for determining consideration adjustments.
